I love GIFs. We don’t need to talk about how the word is pronounced, but everyone can agree that a good GIF can brighten your day. GIFs can be a great way to add some fun to your social media presence. Facebook has a feature that lets you post GIFs to your page, and you could even use them when responding to comments.
Regardless of if your Facebook Page is for you, your small business, or a nonprofit, GIFs are universally available. It’s up to you to decide whether GIFs suit your brand.

- Select the “What’s on your mind, _____” tab
- Near the bottom right of the create post box, click the “…”
- Select the word GIF
- Choose from the GIFs that appear, or use the search bar to search for specific feelings, actions, or movie references

How to schedule a GIF to be posted to your Facebook Page
There are a few ways you can schedule a GIF to be posted at a specified time.
- Using scheduler apps such as Later or Canva.

- Meta Business Suite, which is the native Facebook and Instagram post scheduler.
These specific platforms will have different ways to access GIFs and select one for your post. These options are generally available if you want to schedule and bank content, which can help you be consistent with your social media habits.
