Are you a business owner or marketer who loves the convenience of WordPress, but isn’t sure how to integrate it with Mailchimp? You’re in luck! Let’s break down three simple options that will help you get your Mailchimp account connected to your WordPress website.
Let’s get started!
Option 1: Direct integration through your Mailchimp account
The first option is direct code integration via your Mailchimp account. All you have to do is…
- Go to Audience in your account
- Click on Signup forms
- Click on Subscriber pop-up
From there, you can create the form and add the code directly into your theme using an HTML code plugin, or in your customizer if it has the option for adding code.
Option 2: The Mailchimp List Subscribe Form plugin
The second option is easy as pie. Simply install the official Mailchimp for WordPress plugin called Mailchimp List Subscribe Form—no coding required!
This plugin allows you to easily add sign-up forms anywhere on your website through a WordPress widget with just a few clicks.
Option 3: Third-party form plugins
The third option is to use a third-party form plugin such as Gravity Forms with the Mailchimp add-on. Bonus: Gravity Forms is our favorite premium forms plugin, and this is my personal favorite option!
This option is the most powerful and gives you more flexibility when it comes to customization and design options since you can seamlessly integrate any other add-ons that work well with Gravity Forms, such as Stripe or PayPal payments.
Plus, you don’t have to worry about compromising the security of your site since all of these plugins are regularly updated and tested for compatibility with each other and WordPress core itself.
As you can see, there are plenty of options for integrating Mailchimp with WordPress depending on what works best for your business needs. Whether you opt for direct integration through your Mailchimp account or use a third-party form plugin like Gravity Forms, getting started is easy—all it takes is a few clicks!
