If you’re a TikTok fan like I am, there is a chance you’ve heard of the infamous Crumbl Cookies that have received a lot of attention in the last year. Crumbl Cookies is known for its very large, delicious cookies with flavors that change weekly.

Yep, you read that right! Every week, they have new cookie flavors ranging from peanut butter and jelly to pumpkin pie. Occasionally, they get really creative with their cookies. For example, their pumpkin pie cookie is literally shaped like a little pumpkin pie.

Cookies aren’t the only thing Crumbl gets creative with. Their Instagram is a lot of fun, and it’s aesthetically pleasing. There are many different takeaways you can get from observing their Instagram to give you inspiration for your own business. Here are six lessons from Crumbl Cookies on Instagram!

1.  Recognizable logo

Their logo is easily recognizable because it is simple and well-designed. They use the logo on their packaging, merchandise, and all over their Instagram—including their profile picture! It’s a logo that’s hard to forget, which is kind of the point.

At the end of the day, you want your brand’s logo to look good, make sense, and be easily recognizable. I have seen some not-so-great logos in my time, and let’s just say they are easy to forget.

2. Headlines on profile

What does your business do? What services do you offer? Crumbl Cookies answers these questions in its profile’s bio. This lets visitors know who you are, what you do, and how you can help or benefit them. They get straight to the point to quickly capture visitors’ attention.

3. Featured fans and customers

Want to make your customers feel special? Feature them on your social media platforms! As mentioned before, Crumbl received tons of attention from customers and fans posting their cookie reviews online.

Crumbl Cookies now takes those weekly reviews and features them on their social media platforms. One way they do this is by utilizing Instagram stories, which—in my opinion—should be done by every business with an Instagram. Experiment and take advantage of Instagram’s tools!

4. Brand hashtags

If you’re looking to reach more people on Instagram or want more profile visitors, hashtags are a great way to do it. Crumbl Cookies includes two well-known hashtags in its bio to encourage cookie lovers to use them in their own posts. These hashtags are #TasteWeekly and #CrumblReview.

Crumbl Cookie reviews are all over TikTok and Instagram, so the hashtag #CrumblReview is both fitting and smart. They also include these tags in every single one of their posts.

5. Instagram highlights

When you post Instagram stories, you get the option to save them off to your profile by using Instagram highlights. You can organize them and put them into categories so they are easy to find and access. Crumbl Cookies does this, and they even include original cover photos for each highlight, featuring relevant little doodles on a pink background. It’s super cute!

6. Profile aesthetics

It’s important to have a color scheme or a theme when it comes to your social media. Not only that, but it should be relevant and consistent. Crumbl Cookies is known for its light pink box, and they took that pink and implemented it into their entire Instagram page.

They use the light pink color in the backgrounds of most of their posts, which makes the scrolling experience very satisfying. They also consistently post videos and photos of their cookies, featuring their new weekly flavors.

You might think that cookies would be easy to market, but Crumbl took Instagram basics and made them more creative and fun. They don’t have 1.5 million followers for nothing! They are now one of the most recognized cookie shops in the United States and across social media platforms.

I hope that you can take something from one or more of these lessons and apply it to your own business’s Instagram. Experiment with different tools and have fun with it!
