It’s 2021, guys. Smartphones are everywhere. I’m constantly on my iPhone, taking photos, buying food, paying bills, and even surfing the web.

If your website isn’t mobile-friendly, then it’s time to get your act together!

Let’s look at four mobile websites for companies I love and a lesson we can learn from each of them.

Walt Disney World

If you know me well, this one won’t surprise you. I love Disney World! Their mobile website is easy to use, and they have a video right on top of the home page.

Lesson: Video is king, even on mobile.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

I love Reeses Peanut Butter Cups almost as much as I love Disney World. I ate them constantly during my first two pregnancies. We won’t talk about the torture I had to undergo during my third pregnancy (Hint: it involved not being allowed to eat any Reese’s cups). Their website looks excellent and prominently features fantastic photography of their candy.

Lesson: Great photography is super important.

Sonic Drive-In

Sonic is a staple here in Oklahoma. We live less than a mile from one, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. If you’re going to the Sonic website on your phone, you most likely want to order some food. They make it super easy with a big “Order Now” button right on the home page.

Lesson: Make your call to action obvious, especially on mobile.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

We took a family trip to Ripley’s earlier this year, and we loved it! Ripley’s has locations all over the place, and they do a great job of listing those right on the homepage of their website.

Lesson: Make it easy to find you.

If your website is more than a few years old, chances are mobile technology has improved since you launched it. If that’s the case, we would be happy to talk and see if we can help you create a new, more mobile-friendly website!
