A modern church website with WordPress

We love helping nonprofits. One type of nonprofit we end up helping a lot—partially because of the discounts we have available—is churches.

Earlier this year, we sat down with Jared Guyer with Oklahoma City Friends Church. Jared felt that their website was outdated, and he was looking for an affordable option to fix it.

Early in the process, Jared shared with us, “We are a very small church, and I handle our website duties. I’ve been needing to redo the website and give it an updated look along with much-needed mobile friendliness. It was originally set up around 2004 or 2005.”

Jared went on to share that as the person who updated their website, the easier it was to manage on an ongoing basis, the better. He also wanted to be sure people could donate online.

We were happy to help!

Working with Jared, we created a new, modern website that achieved his goals. We brought it up to date from almost 15 years ago, made it mobile friendly, and made it easy for people to donate to the church through PayPal.

And now the website is much easier for Jared to maintain. It was built on WordPress like most of our sites, and we even provided training so Jared felt comfortable updating it himself.

Do you attend church somewhere and think your church’s website could use an overhaul? Maybe you or the leadership have been worried you might not be able to afford it? We’d love to have a conversation with the leadership at your church!

Just have them contact us to set up a conversation to see if we might be a good fit! We help churches with a wide range of budgets.
